The Florida Collector

This is a fairly simple site, easy to navigate. It was put together by a gentleman in Florida that collects only animals indigenous to the Florida Keys…In my opinion one of the best reasons to do business with this man are his wonderful seahorses! Not only does he have the cheapest dwarf seahorses (hippocampos zosterae) you will ever find. He sends beautiful healthy, specimens. In my last order he even included a few extra, in case of d.o.a. (dead on arrivals). None of them were dead! In fact within a week they were giving birth and breeding! Our original 10 we ordered were numbering over 50 in 3 months time! He also has a limited variety of other marine life. (ie. giant seahorses, damsels, cowfish, toadfish, pipe fish, various crabs, shrimp, starfish, anemones, jellyfish, sponges, corals, gorgonians, etc. as well as live macro-algae.) He does not sell aquarium supplies, just live animals.

Down side is that since is a small operation, it may take a while (2 or 3 weeks) for you to get your fish, as he does all of the collecting himself. But once you get them you will not be disappointed. Some animals are seasonal. I have had personal experience with him and was very pleased with his professionalism and integrity. My dwarfs arrived in great shape!
